Ecosystem structure, processes, dynamics, and resilience are considered as a basis for facilitating the design and management of landscapes in a variety of land-use scenarios, particularly in urban regional environments. Sustainable land-use practices based upon ecological resilience are investigated. Several ecological frameworks for sustainable landscape design and management including Adaptive Management and Collective Action are presented and analyzed. #### My Thoughts ... #### Course Modules * [[CKLA400 M1 - Introduction and Themes]] * [[CKLA400 M2 - Principles of Landscape Ecology 1]] * [[CKLA400 M3 - Principles of Landscape Ecology 2]] * [[CKLA400 M4 - High Park Black Oak Savannah Case Study]] * [[CKLA400 M5 - High Park (Field Trip)]] * [[CKLA400 M6 - Resilience and Sustainability 1]] * [[CKLA400 M7 - Resilience and Sustainability 2]] * [[CKLA400 M8 - Wetland Restoration in Severn Creek Watershed Case Study]] * [[CKLA400 M9 - Historic Severn Creek Watershed]] * [[CKLA400 M10 - Intervention and Management 1]] * [[CKLA400 M11 - Intervention and Management 2]] * [[CKLA400 M12 - Las Vegas Wash Adaptive Management Plan]] --- ## Extras ...
